I had the pleasure of working with Brandt as a Senior Instructional Designer supporting our digital transformation training needs, and he consistently brought both patience and creativity to work that wasn’t always easy to pin down.
Digital transformation initiatives rarely come with a finished strategy on day one — priorities shift, stakeholders align at different speeds, and requirements evolve mid-stream. Brandt handled that ambiguity with a level head, staying patient while strategy was still being worked out and adjusting course without losing momentum. When feedback came in, he incorporated it quickly and thoughtfully, never treating revisions as a setback but as part of getting the work right.
What stood out most was his resourcefulness. Rather than waiting for perfect inputs before starting a review, Brandt found creative ways to get something in front of stakeholders — fill-in-the-blank formats, scaffolded drafts, whatever it took to establish a foundation people could actually react to. That instinct kept projects moving and gave teams a concrete starting point instead of a blank page.
Brandt is the kind of instructional designer who makes ambiguous, fast-moving work look manageable. Any team taking on complex training challenges would be lucky to have him.
